Social media is speculating that Watts’ new girlfriend is one of his sister’s pals. That’s Anna on the right and Watts’ blonde sister beside her, second on the left.
If true, this suggests Watts’ family set up the “girlfriend” to appear be a sort of neutral spokesman to communicate Watts’ latest version of events to the media.
Anna’s reference to the word “leash” is also exactly the same word Watts’ himself used during the Second Confession.

Do you think Watts is doing all this for the “long con” or is he just toying with people? I can’t figure it out. I understand the horrible story he spun was to (maybe) eliminate any type of premeditation on his part, but is there more? I feel like perhaps there is, but I can’t quite put my finger on it.
