There is very little information in all of the media covering this case that provides the time when the police were notified. Little, not none. The 13:30 timestamp below makes sense if we consider the whiteboard was drawn up within the next 15 minutes.
It was the action plan of what to do next, which resources to use, and how to co-ordinate with hotel staff. It’s also clear that the disappearance was noticed at 07:00 according to what was told to police on Day 1, whereas the media reported the disappearance at 08:00 [although various times were reported, ranging from 06:30 to 08:30].
If these times are accurate, it raises a disturbing question. Why did it take so long to alert the authorities?
They arrive after a long journey and put nora and a sibling to sleep in downstairs room and mum/dad and other sibling upstairs. Downstairs, one child is sleepy and wants to sleep – the other, let’s say nora, is not sleepy -maybe overtired and over excited, as kids can be around xmas or holidays – all that anticipation and excitement mixed with jet lag/tiredness. Maybe one of them is on a DIY temporary bed on the floor. Maybe a temp bed was set up after a bit of over tired squabbling to try and help both of them sleep. While rest of family fall asleep the two downstairs are squabbling a bit because one is stopping the other from sleeping. This escalates and Nora stomps off upset or cross. Although She wouldn’t leave her home in London alone She is in a house that actively merged the inside with the outside and doesn’t get the parameters yet. She leaves out of the window and as the forest is close to the house, within minutes she is lost in there (locals have said you can get lost in 5 mins unless
you know it well). The other sibling either just goes to sleep, or, after not hearing her come back after a while, goes to wake parents and raise alarm. Whole family waste time looking for her but realise it is futile and eventually call police. Parents, wanting to protect the child who argued with her causing her to stomp off, avoid having siblings interviewed by police (which they apparently did) and either just say or even convince themselves that although she originally went outside because of the family argument, she must then have been abducted outside.
